UNESCO World Heritage Sites
My newest goal (added to my bucket list approximately 30 minutes ago) is to visit as many of the sites listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as possible. I love traveling AND I love checklists. Why not combine the two passions by using the World Heritage Sites as my own juiced up travel checklist?!
I read through the UNESCO website and, as of today, they list 936 sites located in 153 States Parties. Of those, I have visited 22 sites in 7 States Parties.
Not too shabby! But I still have a long way to go if I want to crack into the triple digits…
